Data Collection Dates:

  •  Transport and set-up lab/data collection kits at clinical sites.
  • Collect and label samples, and as instructed, and deliver or process samples in accordance with the protocol, manual of operations, standard operating procedure (SOP) or other work instruction set.
  • Ensure specimens are properly logged, handled, and stored.
  • Conduct data entry to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance of data collection.
  • Document in applicable systems (tracking, electronic health, etc.) data collected and status of data processing and location/shipments in the study.
  • On a regular basis, adjust regular working schedule to provide weekend coverage as needed.
  • Travel between clinic sites in Tucson and Nogales for data collection and recruitment purposes.

Biospecimen Processing Lab:

  • Process blood samples and prepare for cryo storage.
  • Input data into redcap on blood processing.
  • Assist with preparing blood collection kits for data collection
  • Operate standard laboratory and research study equipment.

Administration/ General:

  • Preparing data collection kits such as printing consent forms, assuring all supplies are ready for data collection dates.
  • Assisting with center administrative projects when needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Strong organization skills and significant attention to detail for data entry.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team, resolving issues with a positive outcome.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
