Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Be involved in a high-level operating model for the strategic implementation of a biobank framework
- Provide high level support in the strategic implementation of the program
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the schools, hospitals, and collaborators, to support meeting priorities and objectives of Biobank facility development
- Research business case recommendations, and papers related to Biobank projects and initiatives impacting the compliance, safety, and efficiency in using and maintaining the Faculty Biobank facilities
- Identify and analyse emerging risks to Biobank facilities and recommends mitigation, minimisation, and elimination strategies and procedures.
About you
To be successful in this role, you:
- Have fantastic writing and communication abilities, with experience writing and curating business reports and procedures
- Have an understanding of biobank governance requirements
- Possess demonstrable project coordination skills, and experience with change plans and programs
- Possess of state and federal laws related to biobanking, including (not limited to) the NSW Human Tissue Act and the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research
- Possess accuracy, attention to detail, planning and analysis skills together with problem-solving and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement
- Can work both independently and as part of a team, taking the initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.
