Key Responsibilities:

✅ LIMS QA & Validation:

Lead the QA strategy, test planning, and execution for LIMS implementations and upgrades.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ).

✅ Defect Management & Troubleshooting:

Identify, track, and resolve bugs, discrepancies, and performance issues.
Work closely with developers and business analysts for bug fixes and enhancements.

✅ Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure LIMS validation follows FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, and other industry standards.
Maintain detailed validation documentation, risk assessments, and SOPs.

✅ Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Work with scientists, lab managers, IT teams, and vendors to optimize LIMS performance.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training on LIMS functionality.

✅ Process Improvement & Automation:

Implement test automation strategies for LIMS validation.
Continuously improve QA methodologies for efficiency and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in LIMS QA, software testing, and validation.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Computer System Validation (CSV).
Hands-on experience with LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, Thermo Fisher SampleManager, etc.).
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete) and scripting (Python, Java, etc.).
Familiarity with GAMP 5, CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, and GMP/GLP.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Install and configure MySQL database servers.
Set up and manage database replication, clustering, and partitioning.
Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.

Performance Tuning:

Monitor and optimise database performance, including query optimisation, indexing, and caching.
Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Conduct regular database health checks and performance audits.

Database Maintenance:

Perform routine database maintenance tasks like updates, patches, and upgrades.
Manage database storage, including capacity planning and storage optimisation.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases.

Security Management:

Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing.
Monitor and respond to database security vulnerabilities and threats.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide support for database-related issues, including on-call rotation.
Diagnose and resolve database problems, including connectivity, performance, and data corruption issues.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve database-related issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Generate and analyse database performance reports.
Provide regular updates and reports to management on database status and performance.

Linux Administrator

We are seeking a Linux Administrator with a deep understanding of Linux internals beyond just installation and routine management. The ideal candidate should be proficient in networking, process scheduling, memory management, and debugging system performance issues. Experience with scripting, troubleshooting at the OS level, and optimizing system performance is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Optimize and Troubleshoot System Performance – Analyze and fine-tune OS parameters, process scheduling, and memory management to ensure optimal system performance.
Deep-Level Debugging and Issue Resolution – Diagnose and resolve complex system issues using tools like strace, perf, heapdump, and system logs, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
Automation and Scripting – Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) to streamline system administration tasks, monitoring, and deployments.
Security and Hardening – Implement advanced security measures, including SELinux, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection, to safeguard system integrity.
